A bearer of the surname Wilder was actor Gene Wilder (1933-2016), famous for his roles in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971), The Producers (1968), Young Frankenstein (1974) and Blazing Saddles (1974). He's a personal favorite of mine.
