This name is far from trendy or cutesy. It's a rather strong name and unless you have a matching personality, it seems too harsh for most people. I should know, my aunt's name is Wilda.

It's just another word name in Swedish. Very trendy and cutesy. I dislike it.

It looks quite tacky, as it has clearly been derived from 'wild'. The name doesn't exactly roll off the tingue despite being two syllables long either. It sounds like certain people's pronunciation of Wilder, assuming it isn't pronounced ''WIEL-der''. The name actually sounds quite old and makes me think of an old, skinny, very wrinkly woman with thin, dyed hair.
