Not a fan at all, it sounds very forced. Several years ago a coworker named her son Watson and she would refer to him as Wats…which instantly made me think of a lightbulb. I’d never heard of this as a first name but as of recently I have seen more and more Watsons pop up. I just personally prefer the classics and Watson is definitely more trendy (at least in the south).

When Chelsea Houska picked this for her son, I didn't get it. It seemed totally out there to me. But, then I learned it was a family surname in my family. Now, I think it's kind of a cool, unexpected way to honor your family line.
