I think it's a very strong, wholesome name but also very gracious. It is pronounced VOOK. I don't know about foreigners but to the ears of a native it sounds beautiful.

I heard somewhere that this name is pronounced either 'vook' or 'wook', I can't remember which. But either way I kinda liked the name when I heard it because it is so unusual. Reminded me a little of Luke.
