Victoire means victory in French. I think it’s very classy and pretty, but maybe a bit awkward to be called victory.

So elegant and mysterious, I love this name.

I prefer this to Victoria.

I personally LOVE this name. It hit me as soon as I heard it. Yes, there may be pronunciation problems, but if a name is beautiful and unheard of, there is a 99% chance at least one person will get it wrong. Victoire is an important and elegant name, and I love it!

I have met a Victoire Colette... personally, paired with "Colette" as a middle name it seems off-- lopsided.

This is my French name in French class! I think it's great! I loved it since I first heard it Harry Potter. Everyone else in my class went with names like Sophie or Dominique, but I'm the Victoire! I certainly feel unique!
