I wish I could like this name but it has always reminded me of “urinal”.

Well I am a woman with this name even though it is considered a masculine name... I personally think it is quite unisex. I love this name but yes, I got called Urea a lot by clients unsure of how to pronounce my name. 9 times out of 10 someone butchers it. I still love the name. It's definitely unique and I have yet to meet someone else with the name.
This is a pretty awesome name, but there are two strong pop culture associations with it (outside of the Bible):1. Uriah Heep, villain of "David Copperfield" (one of Dickens' best novels) & 2. Uriah Heep, the 70's rock (early metal?) band who named themselves after association #1.I'm not much of a fan of the band. And while the character Uriah Heep is outstandingly crafted and developed, he's still basically the quintessential sycophant / social climber, which isn't exactly an ideal name association.
I would never use this name because I find it dangerously close to the word urea and once Uriah's classmates start biology I'm he would be teased a lot.
Mwahahaha! This name is chosen by two types of parents: the religious nuts from some backwood places, and the Uriah Heep fans who don't like to broaden their musical horizons, because ''if it was made after 1975, I don't like it!''. Either way, it immediately makes me think that oh, the parents are trash.

Or you know, people who just like the name, heaven forbid that should happen.

I love this name. However, I feel that it is somewhat unusable considering it's common association with 'urine'. It's too bad though; this would make a cool name.
