I luv this name and the meaning!

It is one letter away from TARDIS. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it depends on the person.

When my family lived in Germany, they knew a woman named Tordis. For the longest time, I thought her name was "Tortoise," because that's how it sounds. I actually like the name, but I don't think it would work so well in America. It sounds too much like the animal.
