I'm genuinely surprised no one has mentioned Timothy “Tim” Francis Robbins, a highly acclaimed American actor, producer, and director. His most notable performances include Jacob Singer (in Jacob's Ladder), Dave Boyle (in Mystic River), and Andy Dufresne (in The Shawshank Redemption). He won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for his performance in Mystic River, and another Golden Globe Award for his performance in The Player. He was also nominated for Best Director for Dead Man Walking.
