It sounds more like "suckin'". I'm not naming a child this due to its terrible sound.
I actually like this for a girl, though it took some getting used to. I could totally see it on an adult, and I think it's cute on a small child as well. It might seem strange to some because it's new, but in the future it will be just a normal name.
It's a family surname, I don't love the use of it as a given name, especially for girls, just waiting for a Sutton to marry into the family and be Sutton Sutton lolIt also sounds like "sudden" and I've seen it paired as "Sutton Ash" more than once and then it sounds like "Soot 'n' Ash".
Love this name. I think of Sutton Place in New York, a beautiful and very affluent historic neighborhood. Definitely gives me more masculine vibes.
I grew up near Sutton, south London. It's really just a grey, nothing town. Better to name your kid after a beautiful and interesting place.
Doesn’t sound suitable as a first name, and it reminds me of mutton.
Something about this name makes me think of Fall/Winter. I love the sound of this name.
