If it weren’t for a very personal, awful family matter, I’d really love this name. In fact, I really do enjoy this name for a girl, as I’ve always done. However, the personal baggage with this name cannot compare, unfortunately. If you’re considering to use this name, I’d say give it a shot; it’s unique, classy, and gentle-sounding. It’s a huge shame that this situation prevents me from using it.
I guess I'm in the minority here because I really like this name. I think it's rather cute, either as a nickname or a legal one. *shrug* I don't imagine a "redneck" at all.
Hmmm... Very interesting but oh my! It screams stereotypical so bad!I've never heard the name Suellen before, very uncommon indeed. But I personally don't like it myself- it's the stereotypical -type (names like Shaquan, Shaniqua, etc) Because most people will usually associate it with rednecks. As for the name, it's really the Sue part that does it all (the part I don't like). But do it! If you like it name your child that!
