Sin-dee strikes me as weird. Why spell it like this? I saw it in a book once, where this wife used to be named Cindy but changed it to Sindy after her separation. That was confusing to me.
This spelling reminds me of the Sindy fashion doll (which is not a bad thing or anything). The sound of this name is really cute & pretty. Plus this name is unique! If you're considering using this name, don't hold back as this name rocks! :)

I was born a Cynthia, but I was always called "Cindy." Now I spell my name "Sindy" cause I'm a "sinner" ;) lol hee hee.
This girly name might as well have disappeared after the 70s, quite frankly. This spelling makes it look like a bit of a stripper or porn star name, what with the ''sin'' in it.
