After being called Simon, Sim One Dumb One, Semen and, my most despised of them all - Monie - I was ready to legally change my name once of age! Alas, I found a way to live with hearing one of those sick-names. Every time I'm addressed as Simon over the phone, I say, "I'm sorry, Simon doesn't live here" I'm not lying am I!

This name is also used in the Netherlands where it is pronounced see-MOH-nuh.
