Nice. I find it more feminine, but I understand why somebody would use it on a male.
Shiva is a cool name for a boy and it has a nice meaning. I don't see it as feminine...
I have a male classmate by the name of Shiva. He is some sort of Southeast Asian/Middle Eastern, so the name is fitting. Although, we did once have a substitute who, when calling attendance, thought he was a girl. He pronounces it "SHEE-vuh".
This should be a girl's name. It sounds way too feminine for a boy, especially for a man!
I love the meaning of the name.
As a non-Indian, I prefer this name on a girl. Maybe I'm just used to names ending with the letter 'a' being used on girls, but I can still imagine a young boy with this name.
I also would prefer this name on a girl.
I think this is more of a feminine name than a masculine, but of course Shiva was a god and not a godess. But still it's more feminine.
I like this name. It is rather unusual and quite interesting. I've read a book called 'Shiva', but the character was a girl!
