Sometimes, a beautiful song is all it takes to ensnare heartbeats and carry the soul on a glorious ascension to the stars. It's a beautiful name, and I'm sure that its bearers, too, possess otherworldly beauty. Really, it's such a divinity that I am ashamed not to have mentioned it by now -- it used to be my favorite Hebrew name, testament to my love for spreading the magic in names such as these.

Hope you’re having a good day or night. I just wanted to take a minute to talk about the name “Shira”. I know someone who has this name and she spells it as “Sheera” because her mom was scared people would call her “shY-ra”. Everyone was always obsessed with her name because it’s so beautiful. The name Shira means song. My friend loved to sing and she was good :) I think that names really connect to someone’s personality. It’s really amazing how everything turns out. I’ve learned a lot from my friend Sheera- especially about her name. One thing she taught me is that the name is a HEBREW name :) hahah just needed to get it out there. But really- it’s a beautiful name and I hope it will never disappear!
