I have never heard of this name before. How is it pronounced?

My actual name is Shengnan, pronounced SHENG-NAN, but some people call me SHEN-GAN, I am considering whether I can introduce myself by Senan if someone asked, but not sure if Senan is mature enough for an adult. You know, Senan sounds better to me, compared to SHEN-GAN.
