All I can personally think of is the misspelling on a Simpsons costume (Boy and Mom Sampson) Otherwise, it's fine. I'm more a fan of Samson, the 'p' here seems strange. Though, this spelling is more sophisticated looking.

I like this name! I wouldn't name my son Sampson, but I do like the name :) I also like Samson, but for some reason I'm a stickler for older spellings and Sampson was used back in the 1800's, whereas Samson is more commonly used in modern times.

I don't like this name on a kid, but on a dog is very cute! I've had a maltese named Sampson.
I love this name so much that I named one of my favorite characters Sampson. Sam for short. Because of that, every time I see or hear the name Sampson, I think of a young, fair-haired boy who will try anything at least once, while giving his parents a run for their money.

I have a Maltese dog named Sampson. As you know, it comes from the surname "Samson" (SON of Sam), but also in the Bible Samson was a strong and powerful young man. I think it's quite funny because my dog thinks he can take anything on!
