I love the pronunciation but I would suggest a different spelling or add a middle name.

Hmm. Maybe best as a middle name in English speaking countries.

I like Rut as a middle or hyphenated name. (Example Sera-Rut :)

I understand it isn't pronounced the same as a less-polite verb, but it's spelled identically. If your child will ever be around English-speaking peers, I don't recommend it.
