This is a wonderful name. I've liked it ever since I saw the movie River Wild starring Meryl Streep. This is the name of her son in that movie. He spelled it Ruark. However I personally prefer the spelling Roarke. Roarke is also the name of one of the main characters in the In Death series written by J.D. Robb.

This is an awesome name for a boy. I would probably spell it Roarke to make it easier to pronounce than people trying to guess the pronunciation of Ruarc. I have also seen it spelled Rork and Rorke.

I fell in love with this name. I love it! Hopefully I will name my first son Ruarc. LOVE IT!
