A combination of Rose and Lynn for a match made on earth. I adore this name and first heard about it in a beautiful song called Roslyn by Cullen. I recommend giving it a listen and you will fall in love with this name just as I did. This name is classic but not worn out sounding, making it a great name to use.

Roslyn is a pretty name and not commonly used. I like the spelling of it the most and its lovely meaning - soft or tender rose. I prefer Rosalyn to Roslyn though because I feel Rosalyn is associated much more with Rose and sounds a lot more feminine.

This is my wife's name. It's supposed to be pronounced as 'ROSSLYN', but around Junior High she decided to start pronouncing it as ROZLYN and then just shortened it to Roz. Reason being was because most people kept pronouncing it as 'Rosalyn' or 'Roselyn' when there is clearly no A or E in her name. Got frustrating, so she's been going by Roz ever since.

Such a beautiful name! So many variations Roslin, Rosslyn, Rosslin, Rozlin, Rozlyn, Rozzlyn and Rozzlin. Very pretty with so many cute nicknames like Lynn, Rose, Rosa and Rosie!

I think this is a very beautiful name, but for some reason I always associate it with someone who would always be sad.
