RoseAnn DeMoro is an American former executive director. She was the former executive director of National Nurses United and the California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee and a former national vice president and executive board member of the AFL–CIO. DeMoro has been named "America's Best & Brightest" by Esquire magazine, dubbed "The Most Influential Woman You've Never Heard Of" by More magazine, honored among "America's Most Influential Women" by MSN, and one of only eight people to be cited among the "100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare" for 14 consecutive years by Modern Healthcare magazine.
Roseann Runte, CM, is a Canadian-American poet and president and CEO of the Canada Foundation for Innovation. Previous to that, she was a university professor and the president and vice-chancellor of Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. She was also the seventh president of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, only the third woman to head a four-year college or university in Virginia. She has previously served as president of Victoria University, principal of Glendon College, and president of l'Université Sainte-Anne.
Roseanne Cherrie Barr is an American actress, comedian, writer, television producer, director, she was also the 2012 presidential nominee of the California-based Peace and Freedom Party. Barr began her career in stand-up comedy at clubs before gaining fame for her role in the television sitcom Roseanne. The show ran for nine seasons, from 1988 to 1997. She won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her work on the show. Barr had crafted a "fierce working-class domestic goddess" persona in the eight years preceding her sitcom and wanted to do a realistic show about a strong mother who was not a victim of patriarchal consumerism.
