Romuald Boco is a Beninese footballer who last played as a midfielder for Leyton Orient. Born in France, he has represented Benin at full international level.
Romuald Hazoumè is a Yoruba artist from the Republic of Bénin, best known for his work La Bouche du Roi, a reworking of the 1789 image of the slave ship Brookes. La Bouche du Roi was widely exhibited in the United Kingdom as part of the centenary remembrance of the Slave Trade Act 1807 by Parliament. He only uses recycled materials to create his works.
Romuald Figuier, also known mononymously as Romuald, is a French singer.He has represented Monaco twice (1964 and 1974) and Luxembourg once (1969) in the Eurovision Song Contest. In February 1973, Romuald represented France with "Laisse-moi le temps" in the XIV International Song Festival in Viña del Mar, Chile, where he finished 2nd and got the prize for the Best Singer. Some months later, Paul Anka bought the rights of the song from the authors, and along with Sammy Cahn composed lyrics in English, giving it to Frank Sinatra, who made it famous all over the world as "Let me Try Again" (from Ol' Blue Eyes Is Back, Reprise Records, October 1973).
