I love this name. My precious baby girl that I have hoped for my entire life, due on New Year's Day, will be named Roksana. The timing of her birth really lends itself to the meaning behind the name but that is not why I chose it - I have loved this name my entire life. Roxanna is a family name but I love Roksana even more, the pronunciation feels more elegant and the spelling honors baby's ancestry best. It also sounds fantastic with our last name. I used to go by Roxana online (for anonymity/safety) since I was a child so it feels kinda like I am naming her after myself in a way, lol!

This isn't that bad, a good nickname might be Rocky instead of Roxy.
