There are actually two main pronunciations for Robert in the Dutch-speaking world; which one you hear, largely depends on the preference of the parents of the bearer, as they decided how the name of their son ought to be pronounced. In addition to the one you have already listed, the other pronunciation is:/'rɔ.bərt/ (with a short 'o') [noted -ed]Technically, this pronunciation is not in accordance with the rules of the Dutch language and therefore grammatically incorrect. The proper spelling for this pronunciation is Robbert, which is also in use, but not as much as Robert.Robbert tends to be used by parents who absolutely want to ensure that the name is always pronounced as /'rɔ.bərt/, since that is the only way in which Robbert can even be pronounced. Robert is more ambiguous in that regard, but only because a lot of people insist on using /'rɔ.bərt/, even though /'ro:.bərt/ (with a long 'o') is the only correct pronunciation for Robert. With that said, here are a few examples of Robert being pronounced with a short 'o':https://nl.forvo.com/search/Robert/nl/ (in Dutch)
