Love this name. I have a son called Ronan and it’s strong, masculine and ages well.

We are of Irish and Scottish ancestry so this name would have been perfect. I truly love this name and wanted so badly to name my son Ronan but as it was my husband's choice to name, we went with Jack. Ronan is my fave though.

I like how the fact that Rónán means 'little seal' since there are seals that can be found in the Wash near where I live. So, it's a good name to give to a boy if he lives in a place near where seals breed and exist.
I like this name, but I'm starting to find that it's getting way too popular. I notice several Hollywood stars have named their sons Ronan, and I'm starting to see it more in everyday life. I have a bad feeling this will be the next "Aiden".
This name is so adorable. The meaning just adds to it! If I were to name a son this, I would always dress him in seals, and his room would have seals all over it.
This is such a strong, handsome name for a man to have.

The meaning and the sound of Rónán make for a good name; I envision a boy or a man with the big, soulful eyes of a seal. I have also attempted to create a feminine form for Scots Gaelic, "Rònag" (RON-ak). Still, seeing that "rón/ròn" is masculine in Gaelic, it might not go over well.
