I love the name Réka. It has a nice power to it. It's a strong name. Abroad, people have trouble rolling the R but everyone can say Ray-ka.
Not a fan of Réka. I was born and raised in Hungary where Réka is a popular name especially for people born in the 1990s and 2000s. Réka feels short, harsh, and weird. One big downside is that it’s not international and people in other countries have a super hard time pronouncing and spelling it. It is a decent name for someone who lives in Hungary and never or barely ever travels abroad. My childhood best friend’s name is Réka but the friendship ended years ago.
Nice, simple and strong. Who says girls' names should always be dainty and delicate? This would suit a woman of any age.
Interesting.
