The Indian pronunciation is "ra-VEE", making the "Ra" very quick and the "VEE" longer. Many people still pronounce it "RAH-vee", putting all the stress on the first syllable. [noted -ed]
Another comment said it was pronounced RUH-vee, but a family member of mine is called Ravi, and it's pronounced RAH-vee. Of course this could be because of language or religion or something.
