Nice name, wouldn't use it in any English speaking country though.
Ran as in “he Ran”? I don’t think so.
Ran is my son’s name. We live in Turkey. Ran is the surname of one of the world’s best (may be first) poets: Nazim Hikmet Ran. And that’s the reason for my choice.
I am right here, and usually not one to run away.
Hey?! Where did Ran go? He is Ranning!
I thought "Ran" was when someone Ran some place.
