I think this name is very pretty! Love that you can call your little girl a “Rae” of sunshine. So cute!

After reading the meaning, I’m falling more in love with this name. I’d spell it with one N as I prefer -Lyn names spelled that way. It’s said in two syllables like Ray-Lyn, so I’m not sure why people have any negative feedback on pronunciation/sound. Lots of names sound like other things when mispronounced *shrug*. If this is your name, or you want to use it, it’s so adorable! And combo of two classic middle names, so definitely a good middle contender that would sound great with plenty of first names!

I love the name! My sister named her daughter Raelyn and she always told me she preferred it spelled with 1 N, she just likes the way it looks better then with two, nothing wrong with either though, it’s a beautiful name and southern sounding as well.

This is a very pretty name! Love the meaning. I’d use it for a middle name.

This name is beautiful! I prefer this spelling (Raelyn). It is pronounced Ray-Lihn, like two words said quickly together. It is a combo name and means Rae-graceful lamb and Lyn-pretty. I’ve also read it can mean beam of light. Can’t go wrong with this name for a little girl.

I love this name! It’s so pretty! Raelyn is probably the name Rae with Lyn mashed on the end, or a Rachel spin off. Raelyn is much better than Raelynn in my opinion. I also love the nickname Rae, so cute!

It's an okay name but I'd use Rae/Ray, or Raelynn better.

I personally really like the name Reilan (pronounced Ray+lin), and have a fantasy character by that name - I feel like this spelling is less juvenile and clunky than Raelyn, and is much more gender neutral.
My daughter's name is Raelyn Khaleesi. We all call her Rae or Rae Rae. She is 2 now and is calling herself ReeRee.. we love all those nicknames and she responds to them all. So for all you people who thinks it's "white trash"... FAR FROM IT!
This name being modern and completely made-up is not what makes it to be awful. Some modern and made-up names I find to be quite decent. It's the fact that the sound of this name sounds way too cutesy and extremely juvenile. For the life of me, I cannot picture a grown adult carrying this name. I knew a woman who just gave birth to her first child back a month ago and she used this name, only spelled as "Railynn". I do admit that the spellings of Raelyn & Raelynn look golden compared to it.

It sounds like someone with a Southern accent saying "railing", also another random name with a trendy suffix added.
I don't see the appeal about giving a child a name that both looks and sounds undeniably tacky and infantile. And if that isn't bad enough, the name pretty much sounds like you named your child "Railing"Get off the charts Raelynn & Raelyn!

One of the more revolting "invented" names with a -lyn tagged on haphazardly. It sounds like "railing" and a name made for someone of a lower class.

Sounds so boring that it's a bit ugly to me. It's not exactly classic, either.
I really like this name. :)I had a friend named Braylin, and then I decided I liked the name Raylin, but I love the "Rae" part and I love names with "yn" endings.
