Pontius

I've only ever heard this name in reference to the biblical Pontius Pilate, and the only pronunciation I've ever heard was PON-chuhs. It's a nice sounding name, and I like the spelling and the fact that it's an ancient Roman name, but there could be concerns with how religious people might feel about the name (and that translates to how they treat your child). If you're not worried about that, it's a strong name. Maybe he has a sister named Portia!
