My mum's name is Xin Ping, and the way she writes it (because there are different characters you can use) means something along the lines of 'apple village'.

My sister and I are named Mei-Ping and Mei-An respectively. Both are written to mean 'Peaceful Plum', making them very good names for sister or twins.

This is my female coworker's name. She is from China. I think it's very pretty and cute-sounding for a Chinese girl. Maybe if you adopted a girl from China and this was her name there, you could use it as her middle name when she became naturalized.
