I think Pearlie is a nice, pretty name for a pretty girl. Maybe it's not the best of names but I wouldn't be ashamed if it was my name. I don't understand why it's rated so low. I actually prefer it over Pearl.

My grandfather apparently wanted my mom to name me this, after his mother. I think it's a very cutesy sounding name and better suited as a nickname for Pearl than a name on it's own. But I guess I wouldn't have minded it as my name...

I think Pearl is much better. Pearlie is a bit childly or too old-y. Choose Pearl.
