A year ago I gave birth to my son and we named him Pace. I was a little nervous at first that it would be too abstract, but people who meet him give a lot of positive feedback. It’s easy to turn into nicknames too like “Pacey”, “Pacer”, etc. The name suits him and I wouldn’t have been happy with anything else. Also, DJ Diplo named his son Pace last year as well lol, so I’m curious if it will gain more popularity down the road. Either way, no regrets on my decision :)
I gave my son the name Pace. I gave him this name because my mother’s uncle was named Pais which I just fell in love with but the meaning is lad, boy, servant so I couldn’t be using that spelling. So I used Pace because of that and my son is half Romanian. Pace is the translation of Peace but pronounced pa-chi. I pronounce my son's name Pace and refer to him as pa-chi as a more playful nickname. I think the name is unique and fits my son just right. Let’s hope he appreciates his name as he grows.

I usually like one syllable names, but this just sounds incomplete. I think of "paste" as well, so not really a fan.
My niece was just named Pace and I absolutely adore it! Her mom liked it as it meant peace in Italian and it is not a common name here in the US. Smartest blond/blue eyed 3 year old you ever met, already reading! Lovely, strong, short name. It would also make a great middle name for a boy or girl.

My first name is also Pace and my last name Jeremiah. I am a male. Completely backwards I know. I also have never met anyone with the first name Pace. I hate having to tell anyone my name- they always look at me like I have lobsters crawling out of my ears. It makes me even more introverted than I already am and I just wish my parents would have given me a common name.
When I hear the name Pace, what can I think of except speed?

My first name is Pace and I have never met another person named Pace, although I know they exist. I'm a female. I feel that having this name has forced me to be creative, think-on-my-feet, and witty. BUT if your child is somewhat shy, they won't appreciate having to discuss this unique name every single day of their life.
