Oren

This name is not overly common, but I do like the look and sound. I consider it to be the more mature version of Owen. The “pine tree” meaning is interesting as well.

I really love this name, but it reminds me a bit too much of Orin from Parks and Recreation.

It's unique, at least here in Kentucky. A friend of mine in middle school had this name, though he went by Michael. He was the only Jewish person in the school, and was nice (though apparently had some sort of head injury).

Oren is the perfect name for a December baby. Oren means "pine tree". An easy, natural nickname for Oren is "Ori" or "Orey", which means "light". So, for December babes, you have a little "lighted pine tree" in honor of Christmas.
