Sounds like the name of some protein powder or drink and it’s worse than Opal.
EDIT: ok so I just wanted to say this name is still ugly in my opinion but if there’s a French pronunciation that stretches the “Oh” To “AW” it won’t sound as bad.

I love Opaline. Since my mom was born in October, it could honor her. Plus, this name just sounds beautiful and I love opals.

It's quite nice, really, but I think it'd be, perhaps, better as a middle name rather than a first name. :-)
