Pronounced /'noː.va/ (NO-va) in Swedish. [noted -ed]

I'm unsure about the pronunciation. NO-va with "No" like the word or NAH-va with a short "o" (do you know what I mean?). I think I've also heard the second variant somewhere but I'm not sure.
