I beleive that Ninnian is a character in the King Arthur legend. In the book "The Mysts of Avalon", Ninian becomes high priestess of Avalon at the end.

There is a character named Ninian in Fire Emblem (the first one to be released in the U.S., but the seventh in Japan), but it's a girl.
