I think this name is very interesting, and could sound youthful or mature. :) It's strange, in a very good way.

Nils is an adorable name for a little boy, and still doesn't seem ridiculous on an older man. It's short and easy to say. It seems like a good name to choose if you want an uncommon (but still nice-sounding) name.
