Nichelle

I thought this was just a variant of Michelle but with an N, but I really like the connection with Nicole/Nicholas/Nike! The intended meaning of ‘victorious maiden’ is lovely too, not to mention that Nichelle Nicols was a wonderful, brilliant person and she absolutely bestows this name with a lot of power, meaning, and grace :)

Ghetto and trashy just stick with Michelle or Nicole bleh.

By sound alone, Nichelle is perfectly fine. I can't help but think, however, that a real-life Nichelle would have her name *constantly* be mistaken for Michelle. That would be very annoying, to say the least.

I prefer Michelle and Nicole.

RIP Nichelle Nichols, but I do prefer Michelle. Nichelle isn’t awful or anything, I just don’t see the point.

I don't care for made up names like this. They sound trashy.
