Nerissa is such a beautiful name it reminds me of a well spoken beautiful honourable lady or socialite from the 1920s/30s. I can imagine a Nerissa holding grand parties in a large English country house filled with attractive and erudite finely dressed people.

Just saw the Merchant of Venice in theater (after reading it in high school) and this name stuck with me. It's delicate and pretty.

How could you not love this name? The meaning is so cute (Sea Nymph). It sounds cute, and will age well! Just rolls off of your tongue.

I like this name, but I think it feels a bit over the top. I think that the name Nerisse is much prettier, or even Nerise.
