I love this name and it's amazing for any gender (even if it's a masculine name). I honestly thought Neptune was a girl's name until I learned Neptune's equivalent in Greek mythology was Poseidon. Really cool.

My name is Neptune and others say that it's a cool name! I don't know if it's because I'm a girl, but still, I get good compliments about it. So far, I don't really think that my name is weird, just rare.

I like Neptune.
I actually love any nature-themed name and also the mythological ones.
Being named after a planet is not so different to be named after a star or a moon.
Why Luna, Soleil, Venus or Electra would be good and Neptune instead is seen as ridiculous?
In my opinion there is no difference. I like it a lot!

It was a name before it was a planet. I think it's a bit pretencious, and I can't imagine a nickname for it. Neppie?

As the name of the planet, it seems like a weird name to give a person, and it doesn't sound quite as simple as Mars either. How about choosing some type of moon or nebula name instead? This one sounds quite weird, after all.
