Nathan is one of the main characters in British speculative fiction series 'Misfits', about a group of young offenders who gain superpowers. There's also the eponymous Nathan in the short British comedy series, 'Nathan Barley'.Because of these two characters I always associate the name with someone who doesn't take life seriously and is a bit of an irritating attention seeker... but in an oddly charming way.
