This name also may mean "the man who will bring peace" or something like that.

I interpret this name as meaning "glorious in peace" (and similarly for other *slav names, e. G. Svyatoslav="glorious in saintliness", Mstislav="glorious in revenge.") I have no basis for this other than being a native Russian speaker and thus having some intuition for old Slavic word formation.
