Milagros Carmona y Vega is the fictional main character in the book: 'La reina descalza (2013)' by Ildefonso Falcones. She is a gitana - a Spanish gypsy - living in Sevilla in 1748.
Not exactly a bearer but there was a movie called "Milagro Beanfield War", Milagro was the name of the town. (this is probably one of my favorite movies)
I love this name, I pronounce it Meela-gro, so it doesn't have "gross" in it. A famous bearer was the "mermaid baby" from Peru. She was named Milagros as she was considered a miracle for the poor country, due to all the press attention she received. She's adorable! I've loved the name since I saw it on her.
