I'm a Michèle and I've had to spell my name to people for as long as I can remember. It might be an unusual spelling which looks nice, but it is definitely no easy name to live with. In 30 years, my passport or personal documents were never spelled correctly, because the most authorities don't know how to do the accent grave on the name! most people spell it Michelle like the Beatles Song and are irritated by the other version. So think about it if you should give this name to your girl, it's special indeed, but it will occupy her forever!
