Merlyn Lowther was the chief cashier of the Bank of England from 1999 to 2003. Her signature can be seen on bank notes from the era. I think Merlyn is a great name for a girl or a woman, and that Merlyn Lowther as a woman with a serious and successful career is an excellent role-model.
