At my school there are a TON of girls named Megan with alternate spellings. I never realized that it was still so popular after the 80s and 90s.

My sister is Megan Victoria, pronounced MEE-gan. Mum originally wanted it pronounced Megg-an but it never caught on. My UK relatives call her Megg-an though, and she's known as Meg in the family.
