I love this name. I like it much better than Maynerd. To me, this name sounds more feminine than masculine.

A truly atrocious name. It sounds like what some illiterate hillbilly would name the kid she had with her cousin. The fact that it belongs to the singer of the band Tool makes it even worse.

I really like the meaning and sound of this name. If we named our son Maynard, I would call him Maddie for short. My mother and brother hate it though. Is it a good idea to name your baby something your family hates!?
