Maxim

I know the languages are not related, but Maxim in Hebrew means "charming", and I think it adds another nice perspective of this name 🙂.

Fine if you're Russian/Ukrainian; otherwise it sounds like a character in a cheesy romance novel.

I love this. The only things that turn me off are the association with Maxim magazine and the fact that I have no Russian heritage whatsoever... Would it be strange for someone not of Russian heritage to use it?

This name reminds me of the word "Maxim", that is a principle or proverb. That makes me think that someone with this name might be very smart or wise.
