Marielle Hadid.

One of the main characters in the novel Hard in Hightown from the Dragon Age video games is Lady Marielle Dunwald. She's a bard (spy) and the love interest of Donnen, the main character; she's also implied to be inspired by a female Hawke, the protagonist of Dragon Age II. The novel was written in-universe by one of the main characters of the series, Varric Tethras, and it was published in real life in 2018, written by Mary Kirby.

Marielle Franco (1979-2018) was a Brazilian politician, feminist, and human rights activist. She was born in a favela and after earning a master's degree in public administration from the Fluminense Federal University, she served as a city councilor of the Municipal Chamber of Rio de Janeiro for the Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL) from January 2017 until her death. She was bisexual with a fiancée named Monica and she had a child in young age from a previous relationship. She was killed in a car after delivering a speech, Franco and her driver were shot multiple times and killed by two murderers in another vehicle. In March 2019, two former police officers were arrested and charged with the murder of Marielle Franco.
