My little sister's name is Maricela, and mine is Rocelia. Our father wanted us to have our Hispanic heritage in our name, I was named after my abuelita (his mother), and my sister was named after our auntie.

This is my own name! My dad said that he wanted to name mine similar to Liliana (my sister).
It had to have 4 syllables (because Liliana had 4) and it had to start with an M (because that was the Letter after L)
So he named me Maricela!
I like my name and think it's very unique!
